With major investment in Blyth centre and the clear focus on improving the wider area in many respects; not least the overhaul of the vibrant central market place in the town centre, development of the harbour front, quality schooling and a wide range of new housing developments planned, Blyth was clearly identified as "the place to be" over the coming years.
